Armchair Fantasy Baseball: Invalid Transactions / Royals / Red Sox Trade« on: April 17, 2014, 07:45:10 PM »
Royals trade:
Addison Russell (Minors) 2014 10th Round pick Red Sox Trade: Dustin Pedroia $10M Yu Darvish $18M $18M Cash: $28M $18M Royals accept this trade because we want to win now. Fully expecting Russell to be one of the best SS in baseball the next decade or so, it really hurts to lose him. But, Pedroia and Darvish should make me the favorite for the WS this year and Darvish will help me not drop off too much after this year. Gotta go for it when I have the chance. 33

The Giants were hard luck losers, being narrowly edged by the Dbacks despite scoring the 7th most amount of points. The Astros brought up the rear with a team of entirely non-major leaguers. 35
Armchair Fantasy Baseball: Archives / New Rule« on: April 06, 2014, 07:55:38 PM »
We are going to reinstate an old rule for competitiveness reasons, the good of the game, and to be more realistic.
Every team will be required to have at least 10 active players in the MLB on their active roster at all times during the season (which means that they will be scoring points). Active players will be determined based upon espn.com rosters. Obviously, this is a new rule and it would be unfair to penalize teams that are not currently in line with the rule. Therefore, all teams will have 1 month to comply with the rule. May 6th will be the date that the rule will go into affect. If a team does not comply during that time, they will lose draft picks. For the first day after a warning email, the team will lose the upcoming 5th round pick. If the team does not correct the issue within a week, they will lose their 4th round pick, another week and they will lose their 3rd round pick, and so on. 36

Armchair Fantasy Baseball: Archives / Minor Fantrax Setting Change« on: March 31, 2014, 02:03:24 PM »
I changed the rule locking lineups at the start of the first game of the day. It seemed unfair to teams with primarily west coast players and should not affect much. If there is an objection, let me know and we will discuss changing it back.
