Aside from a bunch of assets I have I'm pretty curious to see the 17 year-old Draisdayle (sp?) kid!

Drysdale and Byram... That Canadian PP has a couple excellent QB's to run the show.

Be fun to see Lafreniere this year around in a larger role as well.

Honestly couldn't tell you much about the US, Russia, etc.

Also... Dang is Group B stacked: Canada, USA, Russia, Czech, Germany. Yikes.
Big advantage to finish either at the top, or top-2 in that group for the QF match-up.

Always a fun time of year. Just sucks it's across the pond this year so the games are all in the middle of the day!

As a Canadian... To be fair, pretty well all 5 of those he didn't have much of a shot at. Maybe the 3rd one but that was through as screen coming off the half wall.

The GWG he probably wasn't 100% set as it was an unfortunate give-away/talented take-away and deke. The rest were just one-timers and PPG's that he didn't have a clear look at.

Guess we'll see the rest of the tourney how he does - it's just one game!

Oh boy. I thought Canada was done after going down 3-1 to be honest. Great come-back though. And some luck with that over the glass camera thing. Of course it was a Canadian (TSN) camera too haha.

Will be interesting next year though as Canada's group is lacking the top end teams for the most part. Not as entertaining for that Alberta crowd until the playoffs.. Finland, Switzerland, Slovakia and Germany.

Definitely makes coming 1st in their division super important though as the 2nd place cross-over will be a tough one, just like Finland this year getting Canada, USA or Russia for finishing 2nd (ended up being USA).

2nd in Canada's divsion likely gets one of Sweden, USA or Russia. Yikes. Also good luck to Austria in that division, which also has the Czech's haha.
