Disclaimer: Depth is a huge factor - so the remaining leftover FA bids could change things here. Rosters that aren't full at this point are penalized in the ranking overall. Will flesh this out again prior to the season to see where things stand.

My rankings use a few metrics (Fantraxes "score" + a couple weighted scoring categories that I believe are important tellers at each position (SOG for forwards and BLK/HIT for defenders). I combined last years performance (avg per game) with Fantrax's projections to give a mix of real vs projected outcome. So it relies pretty heavily on Fantrax's opinion (Score and Projections).
Also it takes the entire 32 player roster into account, which is why I say depth is important to the equation. Top heavy teams like Colorado will likely outperform this ranking.
I just enjoy playing with the numbers. Excited to see how accurate this is.

Good stuff here!
I definitely see it pretty wide open 1st year especially in a shorter 56 game season.
I need to look into all teams a bit more myself and then get my rankings up at some point soon.
-
I used the fantrax projections, in a rotisserie style rankings but I also discount the bench players since they only spend a small amount of games in the active lineup.
ultimately its schedule luck, injury's and and how many hot and cold players that week will determine how we do.

Updated my ranks as of the season start - since there were some trades and FA pickups since I first did this.
