Padres and Tigers have agreed to the following deal:

Padres send:
Isaac Paredes (arb in 2024, 2025, 2026)
retaining $5m of Chris Sale's salary in 2024, 2025, and 2026

Tigers send:
Chris Sale ($18m in 2024, 2025, 2026 with Tigers retaining $5m each year)
Felnin Celestin (PC)
Wilnan Diaz (PC)
Angel Cepeda (PC)
Javier Osorio (PC)
Jud Fabian (PC)

I confirm sale at 13 mil is manageable and I got some prospects I really like to bolster my system that?s much needed. Tough to lose that power but I?m not ready to compete so my main goal is to fix my farm

Tigers make the deal because we want to clear some salary and like Paredes going forward.

I'm going to be curious to follow up on this one. Before this trade :DET: 99 and :SD: 46 farm scores. Following this trade scores were unchanged.
