I propose that we extend the limit from 8 hrs. to 12hrs. for the 1st round and Compensatory picks. Please discuss, I'll post a poll in 2 weeks

I think 8 hours is fine as long as the clock stops for overnights.

Im fine with a 12 hour clock as it is easier management than stoppage time.

I like a 12 hr clock for baseball amateur drafts. Considering these guys won't be ready for another half decade, there's no real rush IMO and it's best to give GMs a better opportunity to pick for themselves.

I like 24 hours for the first two rounds. then to 12 for rounds 3-5, then 8 for the remainder. I only suggest 24 for the first 2 rounds as they are the most important and should someone miss their pick (ahem, me in 2015) then it could change the course of their draft.

I think 12 hours is the sweet spot as well.
