It's no secret Tampa is going for broke in next couple of seasons. We feel Marte is due to regress a bit and feel Choo will post better numbers in Arlington. With almost 40m in available cap in 2015 and only Zobrist, Hill and Choo as free agents, we are primed to keep our competitive window open another couple of years.  We've stockpiled enough depth to take the hit losing Stassi and Davidson. Phillies agree.  I was on the fence about resigning Choo even if he has another good year.  I felt it was a big risk to give him another five years at his age so he most likely was a one year player for me.  I don't think my team is ready to compete for a championship so I decided to add more pieces to my already pile of young guys like Singleton, Franco, and Panik.
