We will officially increase the FNHL salary ceiling to $79.5m in 2018-19.

We will officially increase the FNHL salary ceiling to $79.5m in 2018-19.

The 2018-19 Cap floor is $58.8 million (it was $55.4 million last season).

I like the bump up to 79.5 this coming yr. There's always a need for more cap.

pending FA's are pretty happy in NHL. Carlson already off that list though. Tavares gonna get paid. I predict he stays with Isles.

I'm hoping Tavares signs with another team. He's suffered long enough on the Island hasn't he!? Toronto or Tampa is my guess for a new home in 2018-19.

We'll know in a few days where Tavares lands. I think he'll move onto a new team, one that's a true contender right now. My money's on Toronto/Babcock/Shanahan convincing John the Leafs are closest to going deep into the playoffs in 2018-19.
