Agree with Mordecai. Good for both teams. Leafs clear cap for extensions and add youth. Rangers add another goalie with potential to steal starts in the desert.

Is it my imagination or are schools, school boards and government bodies responsible for schools seem to be clueless as to how to handle COVID-19 this Fall?!!?!?!??!?!?!

Also, it feels like people have forgotten we're in the middle of the 1st wave of the pandemic still.

For the new vs old extensions, do we take the first number before the arrows ">>>>>" for current extensions and use the number after the arrows once August 1st hits?

Example, the #1 Center shows:
1 8.6 >>> 13.5

To extend that #1 Center before August 1st, we give a contract worth 8.6million and if we resign after August 1st, the extension will be for 13.5million. Correct?
