I'm still really pissed at the NHL.  I've been thinking long and hard about returning, not because of the league but because us fans need to make a statement.  Honestly I don't plan on watching any games this year.  And maybe not next year either.  I grew up playing hockey and have been a fan for 30 years.  But the owners and players can both shove it if you ask me.  IMO reasons that these things happen is they bet on us fans running right back like nothing happened. 

Pigs, you run a great league and for that reason I will play this shortened season unless you have an owner that would love to run the Flyers.  I am not ready yet to commit beyond this season though.

It's just entertainment at the end of the day. Look at it this way, no NHL hockey probably meant you spent more time doing more important things in your life. It was the case for me!

I'm not going to watch any games on TV. I'm going straight down to the arena in person so I can let the owners and players know EXACTLY how I feel, LIVE!!! And there's going to be beer and beer cups flying.

Actually the lockout was good for me because I got to squeeze in more hockey games down at the rink. What's not to love about a sport where you get to absolutely nail someone against a wall only to get a 2 minute rest period for a job well done.
