We need representation from larger markets, the NL West, and NL East. I propose adding the following GMs to the RC to make it a panel of nine (30% of league).
Chris (joeshmoe) :SD: or Ernesto (Flash) :SF:
Chris (papps) :PHI:
Chris' opinions and focus on establishing sound rules would be valuable. Flash and papps are also long-time members with a great understanding of the rules.

The best way to do any rule adjustments is through quorum. The league has been running for years now. I think that had we merely adhered to the darned rules created that the issue with :LAD: would have been clean and clear. That's not much to ask of a league. In that case, no small things should come up like this. If there are rule changes they occur by vote from the league and you need x% to reply. It shouldn't be hard for a league that is FGM. And you don't need everyone to make opinions but if they do that's great. If not, they can make informed votes or not vote at all...and the thing dies. I don't like the idea of 7 or 9 people deciding for 30, shouldn't we be able to get 13 or 14 at least? That's the principle of it all.
Knowing this won't be implemented; I admit the only use I have to be on the RC is to do as Colby said, voice opinions and hold a voice of reason for the rules and a respect for the members to know what to expect from the league in return. If you guys don't want this on the RC don't let me on. If you respect these things I will be happy to help out. If the committee expands...which it should.

Although I don't post a lot, I try and keep abreast of what's going on in FGM. The past week has been a little trying to say the least. That said, I would be happy to represent the National League West on the RC if joeshmoe declines and papps agrees to represent the National League East.

I think that would work well. Both have been around for a large portion of the league and as you said represent a needed market.

I guess I just didn't cut it here either? Longer tenure than flash, more posts, and he admits he doesn't post a lot. Is it because I said I like to follow rules?
