In 2012, the correlation between winning % and MLB team expenditures is 0.18.
In 2012, the correlation between winning % and FGM team cap space is 0.1867.

Looks like we simulating real life pretty well!

FGM team cap space or salary caps?

Salary cap. So :CHC: would be near the top of the list even though it has about 30M unspend.

Gotcha.... so there is little correlation, but still some (about 20%).
