Rockies trade:
CI Vargas, Kenny, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Solarte, Yangervis, 1.5m (2016)   should be in the infield now
SP Mejia, Jenrry, $0.5m (P-2015)

Reds do this just to get younger and hopefully better players than they are now.  Howie was doing great this year but we really didn't need him on an expring contract. Thanks a lot pay for the talks.
