I receive the shell of the king remaining for the rest of the year.  He is serviceable 55 ppg SP ranked between Mike Fiers and Wade Miley.  He will serve as a good rental.  The Twins get a SP on prospect contract that can easily be 55 ppg SP will more potential upside and nice MI bat in Mountcastle.

I would have liked to resign him, but I think I can do better with 16.5m and these two specs. Good luck in the playoffs.

King Felix a rental?!?  Say it ain't so!  Not to long ago a little birdie told me he wasn't a rental, he was a #1.  Then he looked at the numbers and found out it would cost $16.5m to re-sign him.   He is no longer a top tier SP, but he is a solid addition for a playoff run.  Good deal for both
