New Things for 2014 Year!

As the new commissioner of AFB I would like to just thank everyone that has stuck around as I know it has been a difficult year with only half of the teams with consistent GMs.

Regardless, we are hoping to have a great 2014 starting with the 2013 Amateur Draft which should start sometime in November.

Changes for Upcoming 2014 Season

1. The entire league (AL/NL) will be in one Fantrax League.

This was not the case before as it costs money to have a league with 30 teams in it on Fantrax.  Corey and ProFSL have said they will pick up the tab for this.  Thanks to Corey and ProFSL.

2. I will be adding all minor league players into the Fantrax database.  Each team will have a minor league team with all their players on it (unless they are not available through Fantrax).

Adding the minor league squad will make searching for available players so much easier.

3. The roster layout will change so we will be able to actually click your team's logo in the top header and see your roster and others.

4. New Trade Blocks will be implemented as well for each squad.  Making it easier to track.

5. The Houston Astros will be moving to the AL West.

6. All teams will have 8 minor league teams so we all have the same amount of space in our systems.

7. New International Bidding Rules will be implemented.

Additional changes to come but that is it for now.
