Franchise NHL / Re: Tough Luck Season: Tampa Bay
« on: December 28, 2016, 04:26:28 PM »This has to be the worst luck I've seen in a while in FNHL.Yeah it's been like an old episode of mash.
Daddy's Bolts trade for a franchise player Steven Stamkos to get the season rolling.
He's got the horses to get to the front of the pack in 2016-17 and he's on cruise control early and fast!
Then Tampa Bay decides they're not a hockey team but a hospital. LOL
Steven Stamkos, $6.3m (2016-2021-FP-8.4 )
Blown knee out 3 months
Ben Bishop, $8.4m (2016-2021-FP-11.1 )
The other Franchise Player, LBI out 1-2 months
Justin Abdelkader, $3.9m (2016-2019)
Knee, out 2 months
Justin Faulk, $6.8m (2016-2020)
LBI out 1/2 month
Reilly Smith, $2.6m (2015-2018)
Another big trade addition Out with Concussion 1 month
That's like someone ripping the spine out of the Bolts.
But the team is still TOP 10!
No whining about it though. Injuries are part of the game.
Makes it an even bigger challenge to remain playoff relevant.
Let's get it
