Discussion: Buyout Same Player Multiple Times

I thought we had this discussion before. Either way, I don't see the issue with it. It is another way for a team to manage their cap. I would of did the same thing to Justin Peters last year, but Calgary made a bid and I said farewell to the cap hit.

A few other teams did that before the Playoffs last yr.

Voynov got picked up by the Wild the 2nd time Slack dumped him.
Sometimes contracts need to be adjusted in fantasy.
Once a guy is dumped into the FA pool it's a free for all and the market dictates contract value.

If anything, I will say that the league/commissioners can impose restrictions if we feel a rule is being seriously molested and abused.

I hate this discussion almost as much as I hate the buyout loophole. 

I like the idea of allowing tools or options to reduce the impact of a bad contract, but to completely negate a contract I am not much of a fan. 
I would much rather see an option to retain some cap in a trade vs. the buyout loophole/credit. 
I actually think the buyout loophole is stiffling trades in the league. 99% of the time I buy out the player and rebid them rather than look for a way to move them. If I am on the other side, why would I ever make a trade for a player that is playing even marginally below his contract value. 
The buyout/credit loophole is also creating more work for the admins. 
The buyout/credit loophole is also creating artifically high contracts.  ie. Sergey Tolchinksy ( no way he goes that high if the GM knows he has to come good for the contract)
Its un-realistic unless this is an NFL pool..
For a 30 team advanced NHL league its a huge cop out. 

If its there I will use it, but if it goes away I am not going to miss it. 
All that said, I get the reasoning behind keeping it until the league fully matures with 30 dedicated owners.

I make a lot of moves. A lot of PM's, a lot of comments, a lot of trades, a lot of picks, and a lot of drops. I imagine I will be at the top of the list for using the buy-out discount as well. If someone arbitrarily tells me I can't use this rule after I campaigned hard to get rid of it I, will quit.

If someone repeatedly abuses a rule, I might just make a special rule for them. ie. Any team with a theme related to MASSIVE AMTS OF SNOW is prohibited from buying out the same player in a given season more than x2. PPG how does that sound.
