A favorable trade in Year 1 helped solidify this team as a perennial contender however with numerous contracts of Superstar players up for renew over the past two seasons, this franchise has had to make tough roster decisions. The core of this franchise features Erik Karlsson, Corey Perry, Cam Fowler, Mikko Koivu, Kyle Turris, Tyler Johnson and Jonas Hiller. The challenge will be icing a contender while trying to keep core players intact. The new owner will have $9.0 MILLION to work with this off-season.
