Title: FNHL HIGHEST PAID DEFENSEMEN (OVER 4M)

Thought it was interesting to see what the top paid Defensemen earn in 2014-15.
There are 36 defensemen making over $4.0m

A few surprises on the list.
Can you spot them?

Dion ranked in the 30's this yr in D scoring but 9th in cap hit for defense, should be much better next yr when they ship him off to a contender! :win:

Torey Krug at 5.9m is worth every penny!

In the NHL in 2014-15, the Top 5 D earned these base salaries.

Shea Weber earned 14 Million.
Ryan Suter earned $11m.
Dion Phaneuf $8m
Duncan Keith $7.6m
Kris Letang $7.3m

List was missing OEL, he would slot in at #23  :rofl:  His resign will cost him top 5 @ 7M.

I think he's a bargain right now at 5.6m

One of the inherited original contracts in this league. There are about 5-6 of them out there (2010-18).
