FINAL RESULTS Round 2 of the 2017 FNHL Playoffs.
118.9 :CHI-NHL: (2-CEN) VS 125.8 :NAS: (1-CEN)

Ouch! Hawks didn't have lady luck on their side. A few lucky player starts and we could've been in the Final 4 dance!
D@mn you Nashville!
FNHL Hawks hate your guts!
GL :NAS: Preds.

Thanks PPG, I think?!? HAHA
Sunday was scary for us. You had Ryan Miller pitching a shutout until the 3rd and I almost forgot to set my lineup properly.

Preds in tough against the Avs in the Western Conference.
Gibson and Andersen both limping to the finish line.
Injuries will determine which team makes it to the promise-land.

At this point, Nashville is happy to return to the Conference Finals. That's where LA knocked us off last year. Let's see if we can do better in 2017.

I have it on good authority that the avs owner is in China on business...and I see he didn't set his lineup

:NYI: Islanders had a strong start to the week yesterday. 20.5 to Boston's 7.1 on Monday.

:NYI: Lack goes down with an injury (neck) Monday. NYI rolling with Lehner.
:BOS-NHL: Bruins get Rask back but lose Khudobin. Talbot coming off back-to-back games where he got the hook. Ouff! :puke:

:NAS: Preds hard hit on goal. Once one of the kings of goaltending, Nashville lost Andersen on Saturday, then lost Montoya today to injury. Injured Gibson seems to be ready to start a game this wk or warm the bench but will be rusty.

:COL-NHL: Avs forgot to set their lineup Monday losing out on 11 pts on day 1 of the Conference Finals. Colorado will have Lundqvist, Mason and Schneider to roll out this week.

Will the Avs missing 11pts from day 1's forgotten lineup haunt them or will the Preds empty net (3 injured goalies) sink them at the end of the wk?

:NYI: Islanders are dominating in the early going. Could it be Fantasy HGH?!
Good match-ups thus far in the Play-offs. I'm looking forward to joining the post-season mix in 2017-18.

Your Sens have a lot going to them. Plenty of up and comers and lots of draft picks to build with.

Freddy Andersen back on the ice in Toronto in a regular full workout. Preds might've lucked out. Montoya still out in Montreal replaced by Charlie Lindgren as Price's backup.

FNHL Avs' Lundqvist took the loss last night but still gave Colorado 2.5 goalie points which is better than the goose egg laid by Nashville's 3 injured goalies Tuesday night. LOL

Any team out of the playoffs can set their lineup and see how their boys do against the FNHL's FINAL 4. Go to Fantrax's Live Scoring page and click on the All-Teams tab. The default view is Matchups.

:CHI-NHL: I've set Chicago's roster for the week to see how my Hawks would've done against the Top 4 teams left standing. I'm thinking Chicago had the horses to win if only we drew a less challenging matchup than Nashville in Round 2.

:COL-NHL: Avs held the lead 6 of 7 days. The :NAS: Preds were playing catchup the whole time but ran out of steam yesterday  So is tbis a big upset with #10 seeded Avs knocking off the 2016-17 FNHL Presidents Trophy winner AKA the #1 seeded Preds? I dont count it as a huge upset. Avs are a strong team.

Hey AnyMan! Congrats on a great week in the FNHL CONFERENCE FINALS!

Really thought I had a good roster to move into the Finals but lucked out with a few injuries in goal at the wrong time of the year.
Avs will be tough to beat in the FNHL Finals this week.
You deserve to play for the 2016-17 Championship!:thumbsup:

Meant to post a note to JohnnyWeissflog who's Islanders were a scary Conference Final opponent this yr. :NYI: were the hottest team heading into the playoffs and had our number this yr so for me it was a huge confidence boost when we got past Johnny's Islanders to reach the FNHL Finals! So congrats to Johnny on a great season!
