SJ confirms the trade. We want to rebuild and dealt a veteran defenseman and a promising future PP quarterback but got a good LW and a RW that can be plugged into a team's line up. There was only a slight upgrade on the draft pick since Stars are first overall and we might end up bottom five so we've only improved somewhere like 5 draft positions but it's a good gamble and we've got another 2nd round draft pick which is useful.

Moving Yandle wasn't our first choice but the cap savings will help us make cap next season.

  • Braves155: The problem with the minors is not the system as a whole, it is some Farm Systems are more 'elite' at being able to produce talent than others. If you look across MLB teams you can pretty easily tell the great systems from the weaker systems and talent development
