It looks like there won't be any more NHL regular season, so I was trying to think how we could still do our playoffs if the NHL does come back.
Depending on the NHL playoff format we would have our playoff matchups based on records now, then the two teams go against each other picking daily teams over the length of time the NHL sets a playoff series. Add up the daily points over the series length to find out the winner.
It obviously has nothing to do with our DNHL rosters, but does pit GM vs GM.

Gary Bettman, according to several sources, on Monday’s board of governors call, reiterated the league’s preference and its priority to try and have some regular season games before a playoff
