Just checking here. But if this was an IR contract then you can either release back to free agency or else you would have to sign him then send him down.

My understanding is replacement, being 1 year deal, is eligible to be waived as long as I have minor cap. I purposley traded a few guys to open minor cap space since I wanted to hold on to Tokarski.

See him moved on sheet already but just no salary so please add the 3m or if for some reason move isnt legal let me know. @jmtrops

yes its legal. he is signed to a 1 yr 3M and you put him to waivers to send him down
