Rocks confirm this deal. I hate to deal Belt as I do like him as well, but getting Chissy is a fine replacement for him and Duffy fills one of my bigger weaknesses in young, cheap, and high upside young pitching. I will post to release someone to get back to the legal roster limit again.

Fukudome is simply blocking Jose Atulve's path from being in our everyday starting lineup as well as with Brandon Belt. Fukudome is a useful OF, however the chance to grab a young SP like Stewart to add to our SP is too good to pass up. Good luck to Daniel in his quest to try to win it all this season.

Tigers receive:
CI Wright, David, $9m (2013) $9m $9m $9m P Ramirez, Neil, $0.5m (P-n/a), signed 2/6/11 $0.5m $0.5m $0.5m $0.5m $0.5m $0.5m
Rockies will pay $1m of Wright's salary in 2012 in a cash exchange.
Rockies receive:
CI Sanchez, Gaby, $0.5m (P-2013) $0.5m $0.5m $0.5m OF Milledge, Lastings, $3.5m (2012) $3.5m $3.5m
I will drop Darren O'day to comply with the roster limits $0.5M (2011) once this trade goes through.
I do this deal to obviously clear cap for now and in the future. Sanchez is having a breakout season and him being dirt cheap is a major plus. He is signed thru 2013 at $0.5M and he can only improve. Wright has not done much for me this year, but is still a stud nonetheless. The small market Rocks needs to clear cap and this is only the beginning. Ramirez was the price I pay to clear off this much cap. Milledge was just a throw-in to allow this deal to come together.
Thanks Hank for the super easy talks and good luck with your new players.

I know I am not on the rules committee and I am still the 2nd newest member in FGM, but I'd like to throw my 2 cents into the equation here. Multiple transactions are made here every couple of days usually which likely will bring teams over the cap/roster limits. Instead of imposing penalties that Miller, Howe, and/or Colb has to keep track of, what I do in my league is not allow any team to go over either of these ever period. If a trade, FA signing, w/e it may be puts you over, then the transaction is nullified. I do agree with Miller that teams should be weary of their financials and inventory. I signed up for too many leagues lol so I sometimes forget where I am at sometimes. I'd say perhaps discuss that idea in the off-season if you guys choose to and then it eliminates some debate about how to handle this.

the yanks and rocks have come to another agreement in this one the yanks send
P Blackburn, Nick, $0.5m (2011) P Duensing, Brian, $0.5m (P-2012) MI Cumberland, Drew, $0.5m (P-n/a) to the rockies for
P Hughes, Phil, $3.5m (2012) OF Sappelt, Dave, $0.5m (P-n/a) CI Stewart, Ian, $2.5m (2013) the rocks are paying his 2.5 mil this year
thanks for the negotiations ried
My SP has been hurt for awhile now and I get 2 P who are both averaging over 40 pts each time they take the hill. Hughes is still trying to work his way back and he will take some time. Stewart has lost the ability to hit and is in the minors trying to regain his hitting stroke. Plus, I nearly have Wright back. Saddeplt is a tough loss, but I have nowhere to play him anyway in the future. I also get Cumberland back in the deal as well as gain 2.5m in cap for 2011 and at least 5.5m in future years. Duensing is SP/RP eligibility which is a nice bonus. The Rocks confirm this deal and feel the pitchers and cap space will aid us as we try to make the 2011 playoffs.

I am looking for more SP depth. I just cannot sit on my laurels any longer and let Howe run away with the NL West title. I also need to not let the Cards run away with the wildcard either. I need to get any SP you are willing to deal. I realize I will most likely have to give away someone I don't want to, to get a SP I really need. However as Howe has shown me, I will check pts, contracts and their exchanges in addition to the values going both ways. Let's get some discussions going as I need to get at least 1 trade done in the next few days. I will be contacting other teams as well if need be. Rockies Management
