Oilers are ramping up.
Canucks are retooling quickly.
Dawgs are chomping at the bit and climbing the standings.
Ducks still have a strong roster of core players intact just need a new owner.
Vegas will be picking up some great players in the Expansion Draft!

Is Vegas going to be a Central team or a Pacific team?

The Vegas Golden Knights are a Pacific Division Franchise. The NHL will expand once more in the near future to the Central Division. We will all go thru this process once more.

For now the new girl in the school is wearing a sundress with 36 DD's and a black thong, and she has all the boys attention. She is coming to flirt and break hearts, and her name is Vegas.

This year is the year to make noise in Pacific. Some of the most active teams are there. Vegas has a lot of work to do and will start with no minors and the same cap as everyone else. They will be able to add players, and Goalies...... but the players they're going to add are generally overpriced players that teams didn't want to protect.

Vegas Knights sounds better BTW, I guess that team in London didn't allow them to use that name and that same team has a much better logo.

I love the Vegas logo! I think it's the best in sports right now. That's just my opinion.

Also under the right leadership, I think the Golden Knights will be able to compete almost immediately in the Pacific.

Both the Metropolitan and Pacific Divisions are primed to be challenged for, it's the Central and Atlantic divisions that are near impossible to get ahead in. IMO

The expansion draft will bring more parity to the league, guaranteed. Next year will be the most competitive since I joined the league, just wait and see.

Golden Knights is going to be a very short-term name. Army is already complaining about it.

Vegas is allowed to acquire players through trade but cannot bid on Free Agents.
Clear distinction.

However Vegas needs to remember they need to be ready for the Expansion Draft next August 2017.
