definitely time to whip my cats into shape and this cashes in part of our farm to bring in some warm bodies to fill our roster. Tough parting with the 4th overall pick but I think this deal is worth it. kings to confirm.

Kings confirm. That 4th overall pick means a lot to our rebuild which we'll approach in a new way. We're going to build up our farm a little quicker with this trade and it also puts us in a position for more moves to improve our future. Thanks Pigs!

Looks like PR tossed the sink at LA. So great trade for Kings during a true rebuild but not as good a package for a contending team obviously.

Interesting deal. FLA clearing cashing in prospects for warm bodies. There are some great bluechip specs in that package going to sunny LA!

wow. Pigs really did ship the farm to Zilla's Kings. Raddysh, Boqvist, Slepets and even Kurashev are going to be in the NHL in some capacity and that 4th overall will be a can't miss player. Have to admit the deal looked junky until I read up on the prospects.

I like the pick and cap space a little better but this deal looks pretty even. That’s a good contract for Barrie and should help the Panthers poke their way into the playoffs. Good scouting pays off and makes this deal possible

I'm not on the Trade Committee but after drilling down it looks really good for LA clearing cap and landing a bunch of players who will jump in to contribute this year or at the latest next year. Florida moving their rebuild plans along at a faster pace with this trade.
