It's a short sighted deal with Morrissey due an expensive extension at year end. Batherson will be up and producing sooner rather than later most likely but I feel like by the time he gets to where he needs to be Carolina will be in full rebuild mode. Ottawa will probably keep him and Brown down this year so they don't ruin the kids with all the losing that's going to take place in Ottawa

It's very early. I think the Flyers had a similar start last year if I remember right.

I'll go on the record and say Montreal wins it this year. Their depth and goaltending will be too much for whoever comes out of the Metro.. I like the Oilers to come out of the west. 

LOL Puljujarvi was ruined by Edmonton. He will make a safe landing elsewhere. Every team has interest in him. Good try though.

...And I would rather have Hintz at this point than Kadri in a Dynasty even if the salaries were equal. The guy had his coming out party in the playoffs last year and will be a very good player for years to come. He's playing on a line with Radulov and already has three goals this year. Kadri at 7.6m averaging 1.6 ppg...I'm not sure I follow the logic on why he's worth this package. It was difficult to find a taker for Marchand with his contract and he's twice the player Kadri is.

But like I said to each his own. I guess Anaheim is in win now mode.
