to Oilers for

X- 2020 2nd Round Draft Pick, Edmonton
X- 2020 3rd Round Draft Pick, Edmonton

I trade him for the draft picks for my rebuild since Im not going to be competitive for 2 more years. even though his shooting % is high he has maintianed a good scoring pace for 6 weeks now and in his last 10 games has 5 goals.

Oilers accept, I really like Acciari and think he's still developing into a great player.

Yikes, the trade block said asking for one 3rd rounder and the offer is a 3rd AND a 2nd. That makes no sense for a player in a career year out of nowhere...

I wouldn't say its out of nowhere, he always showed promise with the Bruins, but now he's become the scorer and not the sidekick to guys like Bergy, Krejci and Pasta or a 3rd and 4th liner.

the 3rd was a minimum and I would not have just accepted it right away but would continue to shop him until the deadline. he likes the player as I do and he made a strong offer. I know a lot of people here value draft picks differently and a mid 2nd and mid 3rd round picks is not that out of line accepting the fact that there is risk in both the picks and the player.
