Pierre would be a very hefty contract....let me go over it for a day or two, I'll get back to you.

The Brewers are close to the cap for 2009, and have plans for the remainder of any cap space.  At this time, the Brewers primary goal is to re-build their farm system and retain flexibility going into the off-season.

The following players can be had at relatively no cost:
Suppan Jeff - P - 10.5 - 2010
Hall Bill - 3B - 6.0 - 2010
Looper Braden - P - 5.0 - 2009

In a few days I will update this to reflect more specific team needs.

Note:  I would prefer that any offers or player availability questions be sent to me via PM rather than in reply to this thread.

Pirates are looking to add prospects as always.  We're caught in a situation where we would like to bring in some more A and AA players as we have 3 and 4 at each level, respectively.  However, trading major league starters opens up holes in our roster - especially for position players.  Early next season, it's realistic to see Walker and Joyce take starting roles, but with Sanchez and Wilson on the trade block, some MI help will needed.

Also on the block is Chad Gaudin who throws a lot of strikeouts.

Tulo is not for sale. Plus, I'm not sure the Royals have much that interest me.

Kemp, Hudson and Wolf are available.  I'm interested in Friedrich, Fowler and Jimenez.
