Defending pennant winners are putting up big points in the LDS while the #1 teams of the regular season aren't even past 300 points.  The Yankees are looking good to make it to their third straight World Series.  The Brewers are starting off well these playoffs unlike the previous two seasons.

The Brewers have the best lead thus far followed by the Yankees.  Oakland is making up some ground and the Cards/Dodgers series is a great one thus far!

:PHI: Philadelphia...  303 vs. :MIL: Milwaukee...   955

The Brewers have this one on lock down.  The Indians have Gallardo and Santana pitching tonight in an effort to catch up to the Yankees tomorrow.  The Jays have Bedard and Harang pitching today.  The Athletics have three starts left and need their position players to post some stats.  The Cards can only do so much with three of the lesser SPs pitching this weekend.

:STL: St. Louis...  1213 vs. :LAD: Los Angeles...   1581
:PHI: Philadelphia...  416 vs. :MIL: Milwaukee...   1548

:CLE: Cleveland...  939 vs. :NYY: New York Yankees   1332
:OAK: Oakland...  713 vs. :TOR: Toronto Blue...   972

Wow.  4 out of 8 teams have less than 1,000 points going into Saturday's games.  What happened to all the scoring this week?

I would be interested to see the amount of starts/innings used be each team and how it correlates to winning their series.
