Vik, normal waivers are only for players with 1 year left on their contract. Since you asked for a 2 year contract for Curtis, you'd need to use claimable waivers. I've posted those rules below. Do you want to use claimable waivers?
D) Claimable Waivers
Players with more than 1 year left on their contract can be put on claimable waivers. Claimable waivers will last 24 hours and can only be done twice a year per team. If a player is claimed by a team, the team takes on their full contract and salary. If the player is unclaimed they return to their team at same contract and salary. Transactions will occur in the Waivers folder and topic should look as follows:

Oops, is it too late to change the contract to 1 year instead of 2? If not I will probably post on claimable waivers. To avoid confusion and have the clock start acculturate please move this to invalid and I will repost.
