The A's are making this trade to get another quality catcher. This is at least a two catcher league and having Suzuki and two minor leaguers is not going to cut it. The loss of Renden is quite significant but with having my infield taken care of already for the next 4-5 years makes this less of an impact.  Getting a proven player at a must needed position makes this trade worthwhile.

I believe I have the depth at catcher that allows me to make this move. Picking up Rendon to complete my infield of the future is very promising. I believe if he can stay healthy he can't be a special type of bat. I have been watching the rumors about this Ghost named Ynoa and now that he has made his presence known, I would like to add the legend to my flock of young arms.
