Question. Bazinga has 18 million in free agent bids but only 16 million in salary cap space. What is the rule on this? Outbidding your cap space?
He is only winning 1 bid though, so it's fine at this point.
Yes but I wouldn't have had to outbid him if he hadn't been able to go over his limit. Just clarifying, it's a tactic that can be used if we're going to allow someone to bid over their limit. Question though, how does the free agency bidding conclude? Does it automatically stop 48 hours from the initial posting or 48 hours after the last bid is placed?
If you catch someone bidding over their allotted funds let me know and I will freeze them. I can't police it all and would hope there was some sportsmanship. Right now everyone understands I hope.In regards to winning bids, you must hold the winning bid for 48 hours before you take the rights for the player. So last bid must hold for 48 hours.Make sense?
One more question, from what I understand the draft is open until the season is over. A player subject to the 2012 MLB draft and undrafted in this league this season is still eligible to be drafted? Is that correct? If so, some of the players I just posted I'd rather just draft. Can you clarify?
